This customer called us for a kitchen and bathroom remodel in his Chandler home, with the goal of turning it into a rental. He wanted to know if it was possible to create a stylish home to offer renters without breaking the bank.

Working with our team of designers, he selected all of his tile options at under $5.00 per square foot. For his master bath, he chose Paloma Steel 4×16 in a herringbone pattern on the shower center accent wall, Cala Lenci Polished 12×24 on the return walls, and San Giorgio Marble Art 1.5 inch Hexagon Ceramic Mosaic for the shower floor. The hall bathroom uses a beautiful 3D White Ribbon Matte 12×22 tile on the shower walls. Both bathroom floors are done in Shibusa Grigio.
The homeowner wanted to use gold-toned trim items for his bathrooms, and we were able to find Elements hardware he loved in a satin bronze for just $75 for both bathrooms! Kitchen hardware totaled $150, in an oil-rubbed bronze finish.
For countertops, we visited Arizona Tile and found a beautiful 3cm quartz in Venatino Grey for $1,000, which provided both bathroom tops. For the kitchen, he selected 2 quartz 3cm slabs in Oceana for under $1,000 per slab.
Trim items such as sinks, faucets and shower valves were purchased at our showroom through Ferguson’s Build.com. He rounded out these gorgeous spaces with mirrors, lights, and accessories from Wayfair and Overstock.
